Diy kit with everything included

I have been looking around lately for a cnc kit that includes everything such as motors, rods, drive screws, etc..all but the computer... However I havent had much luck... Does nyone know such kit? I have been wanting to take on a project such as this however I do not want to source the materials... its just too much a pain and waste of money if something doesnt quite work.

Buy me a Beer?

This is the only one I've ever seen, but it's very small.

Man that looks great 12x24 though is small I was hoping for something around 3'x4' or a 4'x4' but that definately seems well worth it. Wonder if it can easily be modified? Not something I really want to do but it looks like it could be as simply as new drive screws and rods. Maybe a new platform for the table.

It looks like the rods have wood riding right on them for the linear ways. It don't matter if it is Poplar, wood wears. If you lube it, wood swells. Not impressive at all. Better to buy a Joe2006 kit. I think that's a much better deal

Another DIY KIT!

You might be interested in the "Pilot Pro" kits. They're pretty well built - maybe even a little overbuilt for wood cutting! Everything but the table top, I believe.

Beware, the "kit" is just a bunch of cardboard templates, Al plates, soldered steel frame, PVC boards, screws, etc. You need to do the whole machining, (drilling, etc). I've paid more than $2300.00, and waited for 4 weeks for it to arrive (Extended Kit without electronics), and it is still sitting in a corner of my office. The manufacturer offered to drill all the holes and somehow making it ready to assemble for extra $800.00, but I decided not to add more money to that project. All the grey parts on the photos (z axis, lead screw mounts, motor mounts, etc) are PVC plates.

Regards,

Kreutz.
