I'm tinkering with the idea of building a 2'x3' CNC machine to support my R/C hobby...on the cheap! Does anyone have any spare or scrap parts to throw my way? How big do my steppers need to be to mill PCBs, cut 3mm carbon sheets and some light 3d aluminum milling? I need them to be strong enough but not to $$$! Is my Roto-zip robust enough for what I want to do? What is the best type of controller cards for my application? And lastly, for the love of everything holy...is there any software (free or share) that will run on VISTA! Thanks for the help... Stefn |
