Where can I find plans for a control pendant?

Are there anybody here who know where I can find plans for building a control board and where I can buy components as pulse wheel, E-stop knob etc. cheaply?

I would try looking on the internet. LOL...although most people on here will tell you that as your question has had many answers on this board. Anyway, what do you consider cheap? I don't believe it can be done cheaply. The components you talk about and the components I used in my pendent control, see my posts, are not cheap. Try cnc4pc.com they just came out with a pendent control of their own and a separate MPG and wiring diagram.

Take a look at www.machmotion.com

The site has exceeded it's bandwidth at the moment, so you will have to check later, but I checked it out yesterday for the first time. Nice looking stuff. Not cheap, though. I think I recall seeing a pendant.

Also - do a search for 'Mach Pendant' on this site and read some of the threads. One of them (posted by Ynneb) has a good discussion by several guys about how to build your own from pretty inexpensive parts. There is a TON of info about pendants for Mach right here on this site.

I am using a Logitech game controller as a jog pendant. It works well and you can configure the buttons easily. It does not have an MPG, though. Do not go with the wireless one - I had some major issues with continuous jog with the wireless version.

For the MPG, look at this - http://www.cnc4pc.com/Store/osc/

you can build a simple control board with hacking a keyboard and connecting switches , its what ive done and its pretty simple to do , also you can use an encoder for a handwheel

Do you have a link to a cheap encoder?

And do I need to add some electronic in order to get x10 and x100 pulses?

What kind of keyboard? USB or pin connection.

you can get an encoder from ebay quite cheaply , the keyboard can be of your choice
there are a couple helpfull links in the below link

this was the unfinished project but funtional , something that could possibly let the imagination run wild keyboard hacking

Is an encoder a kind of motor, and is it possible to use a stepper motor from a printer as a rotary pulse generator?

something like this would work
http://cgi.ebay.com/AutomationDirect...QQcmdZViewItem

an encoder sends pulses ,it is not a motor , im sure if you search within this site you'll find lots of info on encoders
