Anyone used these motors for their cnc

I have been looking at various motors and cannot decide which to use and found this lot on ebay.

Anyone any comments

I dont know exactly witch one you mean

But have played around a bit with the 5v 1amp ones, They work quite well, especialy for the low price.

The resulution is very low 40-48 steps per revulution, compared to the standard 200.

There is some axial play to, but that should not matter much.

If its a very cheap machine, then they should do the job

I just looked at the specs on a couple of them. The volt/amps of what I saw is about the same as some motors I have used.

Mine are 5V, 1.1A and only produce about 50 oz-in of tourque. I'm using mine on a 10 x 10 inch router table with a trim router motor. It was my first build, and I didn't realy know what I was doing. They work, but if I was to build another machine this size, I would use bigger motors just to be sure.

Maybe some other members will give there opinion on these before you make your decision.
