I am getting together some parts and I have a Stepper motor that is a Jameco Valuepro brand that will hold 1200 oz/inch. it has coil ratings of 1.5A at 6V, I am planning to drive it with 60V at rated current. Has anyone any experience with this or these motors that can give me an estimate of its performance? Or a way to calculate an estimated performance curve? I am building a 4X8 Wood router, and am trying to select the proper motor for the job. I have a need for speed. But I don’t want to use Servomotors. Thank you. |
