Here's the upgraded CNC router. I originally used Igus DryLin Bearings and they sucked so I went to Linear Bearings with Supported Rails. Everything is now super smooth. I also remade the X and Z Axises to be way more rigid and they do not move at all, but they are also about 50 pounds heavier and use a lot thicker and wider aluminum. All I have to do now is rewrap the wires in spiral wire covering and make a nice new pretty bed. I think I might go with 3/4" apple plywood and round over the edges. |
