I would like to know what tool force a good NC router should be capable of. And how much should the (tool-machine) deflect under such strain? I know there is a trade off between rigidity and performance I was just wondering what there is in the way of benchmarks and specks. Also how prevalent is chatter and deflection resonance in machines and what could be done about them. Cheers! |
