| servo or steppper for large table Im planing a 4x8 table design with rack pinion on longer side y axis (8 feet long) and ball screw on the x axis 4 feet long... I want to know from expereance builders, which is better suited for large tables servo or stepers and why ie pro and cons.... what size of servo is min req..( ball park) |

| servo info there must have been some one, that upgraded there stepper to servo on large machine are servo more powerfull? do they need the same torque requirment whats the advantage with servo, is the calculation for servo or same as stepper? |
