I am building a router and with my current frame I have 36" of travel in X and Y. I haven't built the Z axis yet, that's next. I want to stay with 36" of travel, what length screws should I look for to have enough room for coupler and end bearing. (or if any one knows of a standard length screw that is very close to that) and a good source for them. anyone have a good z axis design, I really didn't want to buy a set of plans just for the z axis. thanks in advance |

| The Joe 2006 and JGRO designs are both well-known and there are a number of other open builds out there you can learn from. If you've looked at these, perhaps you'd care to share what you don't like so someone can steer you in the right direction. |
