Hi, I just bought my plans from Rockcliffe the other day and was wondering what machine I should build. I'm going to be cutting wood and foam to make molds for vaccuforming. The first thing I want to make is a '57 Chevy toy box for my son's hot wheels. I'll include a pic at the end of this post. Now I thought a 3-axis machine would be capable of doing it bit I think I need a 4-axis. If I only wanted to do it in foam would the 4-axis foam cutter be capable of cutting the front and side details? I can use all the help I can get. Gerald |

| You should be able to use a 3 axis and cut each half seperately, then join them together.

| thanks for the quick reply. would I still use my dremmel for foam? or do I need a special bit? how deep would it be able to cut? will the dremmel get in the way? I was thinking of making the toy box 14" wide, do that's 7" per half. |
