Buy me a Beer?

What are you tapping? I tapped Delrin with a .375 hole and a homemade tap.

starCNC - a couple of times there have been some great how-tos re Acne Taps - including homemade ones on the site - you could use the search or just check out these 2 for starters:
what acme tap do I need for the Enco ACME rod?

and
Acme Tap

its real easy and works great - the taps I mean...
cheers - Jim

Acme taps and rod

Hi,
Is Acme a trademark brand of rod, or a generic term ?

Thanks.

Acme refers to the shape of the thread that in general terms is smother operating and stronger.
