Instead of undoing allen bolts or wing nuts to attach the extraction to the router, I use 8 neodymium magnets(10mm x 5mm). Attachment or removal takes seconds. These are EXTREMELY strong magnets. 4 are press fitted into the extraction mount and the other 4 are epoxied to the router holder (afterthought design). | Very clever. Your small gap also means you can pull them apart; some of thos magnets are so strong it is not possible to pull them straight apart you have to do a sliding motion. I have seen mention in a catalogue that they can be dangerous because they snap together so strong they can pinch out bits of flesh from your fingertips if you are gripping them between two fingers.
