hey Basically i need to engrave 4mm birch plywood in an area of 125x25mm with some letters. now before i used a £5000 CAM machine to do this but it was the schools and i cant find one in my price range. (below £300) i have spoken to a few people and they suggest using a handheld router, but i am unsure if i could easily engrave such a small area with a machine like this, and keeping in mind i will be making many then i need it to be reasonably quick. could i get away with handmade CAM machine or atleast something that i can afford? |
