Well I just recieved a 5/8 x .200 rolled screw from roton with an accompanying nut. And unfortunately it looks to have upwards of .005 backlash. I really want to get rid of that, or atleast most of it. I am not really sure how to do this. The only thing I can think of is to get another nut and have some kind of spring (belleville washers maybe?) between them. But I am not really sure how to implement this. So any suggestions will be greatly appreciated. I would like to get the problems worked out with this one before i order the 3/4" screw. Thanks, ~Magick_Man~ |

| Once the nut is solid mounted it might be less backlash then that you might be surprised how much less backlash you have once the nut is firmly mounted. But if not then some way to hold the 2 nuts together (to spin together) and appose eachother is the way to go. I've used 5/8 rolled screws on my equipment and have had good results with 1 nut how ever some day I might add another. b. |

| You can replace the balls with slightly bigger ones, or replace every other one with bigger ones.
