machine tool camp cnc router?

Has anyone here still posting actively built any of the mtc's designs or is anyone currently? I've kind of looked in the archive and found a bit of info on people's results and reactions but wondered more. I obviously have a machine, but I'm always intrigued by the 80/20 designs. I emailed them asking them questions and never got a response and I've heard from people getting similar results. Also I've read that they said they were releasing a new model with a vacuum table etc but I guess that never happened. Anyone know what the deal is with them? Any insight would be nice, thanks.

BP,there is a thread may be 6 months old.I think it is titled "has anyone built machinetoolcamps.com's router.
They generally take 3or4 weeks to respond to a phone call.I was quoted 15 grand for the new style 5X10 belt drive,Thats why I am here on the zone,I would rather roll my own for that amount of mola.

Sounds like they are in over their head, could be wrong but it looks like they have a lot going, too bad they let it go to waste. 15 grand is a bit much for a diy machine, I would rather buy a commercial one at that price.
