I'm not sure what you are getting at here. It has been possible to buy "Axises" suitable for CNC work for some time now. Such hardware is very popular in the special machines field. It is also fair to say such hardware isn't cheap.
So I'm not sure what you are referring to. If I understand you correctly the product you are suggesting already exists in the market.
This could help with the initial cost for someone who wants a cnc but doesn't want to build it. |
Most of us here are building it because it is the only cost effective way to get what we want.
Also someone my only want the "z axis" to add to there own "y and x axis". Like myself who is wanting a "z axis". Let me know |
You have options here. You could buy a lot of the Chinese stuff as spare parts form places like Grizzly. Or you could go the US suppliers to industry and build up something from there.
