Well.... Hello guys xD I just got moved from brazil and I always liked the idea of having an small and cheap cnc router for drilling pcbs and other stuff like that, since it is very practical and handy... Anyway, I'm new to this kinda stuff... I spend this afternoon reading some articles all over the net and here is the first place at google when you spell "diy cnc router" hehe So I'd like you guys to help me, since I'm new to this stuff (which really doesn't seems to be a problem, cuz I always built handcrafted things and I'm used to these ideas and plans), but I don't know the tips and tricks for all of this... And does someone have any kind of small router plan, just for pcb drilling and some acrylic work? That would help a lot. Excuse my poorly english and thanks in advance ^^ Pedro |

| Hi Perdo, and welcome! Probably the best place to start would be to look up 'JGRO' on the site. Thats one of the users (John), and he has developed some simple and detailed plans for a router that should do what you want. Try these links. http://www.cnczone.com/forums/jgro_router_table_design/ http://www.cnczone.com/forums/showthread.php?t=6054 http://www.cnczone.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2032 Enjoy! |
