| http://www.boltsupply.com/ Their standard catalogue only lists up to 36" pieces, which could be a problem. Also, www.spaenaur.com would be another Canadian source for 3 foot long, perhaps longer might be available as a special order Phone 1-800-265-8772. Use the word acme in the search field on their website. I think the pricing is quite a bit better than Reid's Tool supply, but the selection may not be as good on nuts, etc.

| Take a look at www.mcmaster.com, they have a french speaking line, took habitually 2 days to come to your door in Canada. Hope this help, Alex |

| Check out the screw in Genie and similar garage door openers. It is 5/8"-10 acme. 8 feet long too. Not perfect precission stuff, but still pretty good. And usually free!
