Very nice!

What did you use for bearings/slides/rails? I don't think I've seen that before...

Nice work, it looks great! "Hello World!"? You must be a computer programmer.

I got the rails on EBay. They are light weight aluminum. I made the slides out of HDPE (High Density Polyethylene).

Not a heavy duty machine but it seems to be precise (without load).

Actually, a mechanical engineer that likes to program some. Eventually, I would like to write a G-code to stepper movements program

A word about the Dremel flex shaft: Watch for end play. My Mrs. used to try to use one for doing very finely detailed miniature carving, and kept complaining about it. I didn't realize what her problem was until I actually tried to use it myself. It had almost an 1/8" of end play and no way to adjust or compensate for it. I still don't know if it was made that way or if she wore it out, but it's really only suitable for light-duty use. And it will get hot.

Now she has a Foredom. The difference is like night and day. Some examples of what you can do with the proper tools And the talent to use them): http://www.minimotion.com/gallerypage.html
