| A word about the Dremel flex shaft: Watch for end play. My Mrs. used to try to use one for doing very finely detailed miniature carving, and kept complaining about it. I didn't realize what her problem was until I actually tried to use it myself. It had almost an 1/8" of end play and no way to adjust or compensate for it. I still don't know if it was made that way or if she wore it out, but it's really only suitable for light-duty use. And it will get hot. Now she has a Foredom. The difference is like night and day. Some examples of what you can do with the proper tools And the talent to use them): http://www.minimotion.com/gallerypage.html |
