Hard to say but I wouldn't say more the 700ipm but its probably slower do to the size of the machine maybe 300ipm.

the g code says 10,000 units for feed. which if metric is about 393ipm so I would say thats fairly close.

it looks fairly real time to me. But if you looke at the other video by the same group with the same machine cutting air, then you will see the feed rates going across the screen. F10000 if in millimeters is about 393ipm which isn't out of the realm of possibilities. And 393ipm also looks about right for the video, remembering that it is a small machine.

Hi all.
I'm building a CNC wood router machine , but i'm a little stuck with the mechanical things . I am trying to get the acme threaded lead screw and the stepper motors , but i dont know the specifications, which should i get first?? how to choose it's specification???
what should the speed of motion on each axis Be??
My machine is a 3 axis wood router , i'll be drilling MDF wood.
Y-axis : 4 feet long ,25 lbs horizantal movement
X-axis : 2.3 feet ,14 lbs horizantal
Z-axis : .6 feet ,11 lbs vertical

Help please ,thanks.

Man, we had the loader on a Mazak at work. We never used it, and one weekend while I wasn't there, management decided to remove and throw away the loader.
I completely missed out on some great dumpster-diving.

if its the one i'm thinking of then that would be some serious dumpster diving , are they crazy or do they have too much money to understand the value ?

This was on a tiny Mazak with gang tooling, it used a belt-driven overhead-travelling arm with a pair of 3-jaw grippers, and two indexable part racks in a cabinet. Plenty of goodies in it, worth more than the scrapyard gave 'em.
