| Here are the stats for the servos. Rated voltage: 24 VDC 50 oz-in continuous torque 410 oz-in peak torque No load speed 3,211 rpm Torque constant (Kt) = 10 oz-in / amp Voltage constant (Ke) = 7.39 volts / krpm How large a power supply do I need for this motor? 41 amps seems a bit unrealistic. If I am running 3 of these motors from a single power supply can I reduce the total amperage? |

| Are you sure about the 10 oz/in per amp?? This would mean that each servo is capable of taking 41 AMPs for a short time! That just seems to high. Most of the servos in the 300-600 range take 20 amps peak. I would question this, but if it's true then you should build at least a 40 amp supply. You will most likely never strain all three servos at the same time when doing a job. If you do a heavy diagnal 2D cut then you have the possibility of two servos wanting to pull higher amps. However if you are using Geckos for drivers, then you will be limited to 20 amps per motor.

| I'm guessing that you have Pittman motors, the same type I use. A 15A supply will hold the 3 motors well, 20A if you would like some wiggle room. That would be constant torque/Amps (5 amps per) * 3 motors. If your looking for one I have the 24VDC 15 A in stock, and some 24VDC 20A comming soon. I know a lot about these motors, so if you want to email to set up a call that would be fine. I won't try to sell anything ![]() Thanks
