what do you think of the trapezoidal screws from www.roton.com/trapezoidal.jsp#7 Your opinons for the cnc illiterate would be appreciated. |

| Back driving refers to when the screw is driven or turned by the pressure of the load, as in a vertical mounted screw that when non powered, the load will tend to decend by self-turning the ball screw etc. In this application, it is cusomary to fit a brake that is energised when the screw is not being driven by the motor source etc. Al |
