Pics of my new CNC machine

After three months of being on the "zone" and reading others threads and asking many questions and seeing what to do in the way of building and
(what definitely not to do ). I have completed my CNC/Plasma machine table. I am attaching some pictures I took today. All I have left to do is make the holder for whatever tool I will be using. For specs on this; see "INFO FOR NEWBIES" in the Xylotex area of CNC Zone.

Thumbs up

Nick,
Looks like a mighty fine piece of workmanship!
Keep us posted when the sparks fly.
(From the plasma, not other areas of your great project.)

Thanks...I do appreciate the positive comments.....it sounds real cool when it runs too................This is my first exposure to cnc and I like it........After thinking and figureing and building for three months it's great to see it actually start moving. I had no ideas at first what screws, steppers, drivers etc would work for me. But after seeing what other people were getting with their setups I had to jump in and pick an idea and stay with it. I don't mind making something even if it takes a long time.............but I hate to do it over. Building was easy but time consuming for me. The program stuff is where I am lacking. I'll eventually learn.

Nick

I made a small video of my CNC machine with a Porter Cable Router #892
(which, so far, seems like a nice router), cutting out a wood bracket (for testing) that had holes in it as you will see. The g code file was kindly written for me by Ger21 and it worked flawlessly.
