Does anyone have a soloution for making a router accept a wider variety of colet sizes? perhaps a drill chuck that can chuck into the 1/2" colet of a router? So you would then be able to chuck odd drill bit sizes and such into the router motor? Thanks.. b/ |

| I saw another member here using one of these. You may have to cut the shank down a little, depending on your routers collet. It's on sale right now, too. http://www.use-enco.com/CGI/INSRIT?P...PMPXNO=8708664 I personally wouldn't try to use drill bits in a router. They're not designed to spin at 12-20K rpm.

| No, it holds ER-11 collets, from 1/32 to 1/4". http://www.use-enco.com/CGI/INPDFF?P...PARTPG=INLMK32

| Oh well.. Was worth a try. I thought I saw some router inserts at the wood worker store + the wood workers show is in december here in detroit so I'll look for something there.. Was planning on some day putting one of the mini mill heads on the machine anyway but will adapt some sort of router/bit thing some how.. b. |
