| Not accuracy, but resolution. But that's probably what you meant. The coarser the pitch, the less resolution you'll have. But unless you're direct driving a screw with over 25mm pitch, you should have enough resolution, depending on your requirements of course. Don't discount the importance of speed, btw.

| Thanks. So would somthing like this ballscrew be good for a 1000mm x 800mm router table ? Lead; Right Hand Diameter; 16mm x 5mm lead Spindle overall length; approx 800mm (31 1/2") Spindle ball track length; 800mm (31 1/2") Max stroke length; n/a Weight; 1.6kg (1.7Lb) Packed Weight; 2kg(4.4Lb) (plastic tube I want to use the same ball screw for x,y, and z, to make ordering parts easy, is that ok ? |

| theres no reason not to use the same screw for all 3 if it will work in your application.. but it sounds like you will have more screw that you need on a couple axis,, this is fine, just a little wastefull... you might save a little $$ if you go with a little shorter screw on the shorter axis.. if that matters to you.. but i do like the idea of using all the same screws, and maby you can get a discount for ordering more than 1 of the same thing... tho normally the qty discounts dont kick in till something like 5 or more in my experience...
