| Eric, I know at $2.00 you are not risking much, but I have given up buying used encoders on ebay, more duds than good. Unless the seller guarantees they are working. Al

| I found some specs for these. Are these any good, because I probably live a few minutes away from this guy and could probably save on the shipping. "Data Technology's RS23 Instrument Quality encoder is specified where high volume and cost is a prime concern. Along with precision surface mount technology, the RS23 also includes VMOS and CMOS circuitry which gives the encoder superior isolation between the ouput leads and the Internal circuitry of the encoder. The RS23 encoder is now available with differential line driver options with terminal connections." | They should work. Are they 360 cpr? You will need to feed them with a seperate 5V supply since they are over 50ma. (as I do with mine) Eric

| just check with the guy first before thinking you can just pick them up and save on the shipping, alot of people won't let you do it, it's their way to make sure that they make what they paid for the item and the listing price is just profit. Bob |
