with their machines? or at least enough to offset the cost of building.

It would be cool to actually make a couple/few hundred bucks a month once my lathe is finished....

I made 50.00 once with my router table , than I sold it and made more that what it cost to build it.

I built my first table, sold it and it paid for my second table. I also sell these speed 400 motor mounts.
