Hi can anyone tell me more about this steppermotors. I have found them in a plotter/printer and are thinking of using them in a 3 axis woodrouter/mill Astrosyn Stepper Minebea 3,5 V/ph Type: 23LM-C303-10 Astrosyn Stepper Minebea 3,5 V/ph 1,4 A/ph Type: 23LM-C303-09 02235-60056 The steppers have 4 cables coming out of them Are these steppers useable in a router project and what type of controller must I use? Hope someone can help me Happy new year / The CNC beginner with tons of projects waitíng for a CNCmill : ))))) |

Many thanks for such fast respons balsaman, great forum! The first stepperseems to be the exact same as te second with the difference that the second motor has a gearwheel on it. Othervise from this they look the same. Same size, equal amount of cabels out (4 cabels out, red, blue, black and green). But you say they are bipolar. Do you know how much tourq they have or any further info? Are you in to RC flying? |

| Do you have an ohm meter? Check the winding resistance. Go to www.Astrosyn.com to see if you can find some more info. Yes, I am into rc flying. Eric
