This router bit for aluminium? or not? I need to buy a router bit for milling aluminium in my CNC wood router/plasma table. Will this be the right router bit for the job? I am looking at getting the first one in the list. Part number TSR8 at $26.51 USD. It is an upcut. http://www.ozrouterbits.com/html_rou...-sb-sbnfm.html What machine feed speed should I cut at? What should be the depth of my cut per pass? Cheers Peter Australia |

| Sure, those cutters are for non-ferrous metals - aluminum, brass, etc. As for cutting speeds, take a look at ME Consultant software. It's a free application available at http://www.freedownloadscenter.com/B...onsultant.html Seems to be pretty good for doing the feed/speed calculations. |
