| Looks nice. Could you post a little more on how you did your segments? Last night I was poking around the V-Carve site and noticed that Warren came up with a way of doing bowls on his CNC. This allows you to also do oval shapes and what not: http://vectric.com/forum/viewtopic.p...highlight=bowl I am trying to use this technique for some drawer pulls on a piece of furniture that is in the works. This is the home made lathe, I have had this machine several years. The CNC router is new stuff for me, but lots of fun. The segments in the lid were clamped with a ty-rap while the glue dried, then the whole thing was hot-glued to a faceplate and turned. |
