| Yup, another stepper question I'd like to use the Xylotex boards so I am trying to stick with their specs while looking for stepper motors in excess of the 116 oz/in motors they sell. The motors below are a bit over the limit but it appears you can wire them all sorts of ways to half the amps and increase voltage etc. I'm no good at figuring that out. Could someone look at these specs and tell me if they would work with the Xylotex boards please please please. What oz/in would you expect from different wiring options? Thanks for any help and thanks for bearing with me! Here are the specs: • VEXTA PH2610-E2.9B 8 wire motors •Two phase, double shaft •Unipolar/Bipolar 8 Wire •3.36 V •2.8 Amp Unipolar, 4.1 Amp bipolar parallel, about 2 Amp bipolar serial 150 oz-in via chart; 190 oz-in via graph |

| You can wire them bipolar series and get full rated torque at low rpm's. Or, wire them parallel, and run them at 2.5a and you'll get less torque at low rpm, but you may get more torque at higher rpm. You'd really have to do some tests on the parallel wiring. Bottom line is they will work fine with the xylotex wired in series, and produce the full rated torque. Be aware, though, that the torque will fall off faster when wired in series. Gerry
