hi... first time.. I am an active woodworker with a resonable size shop with the typical equipment, however I make some custom or modify existing machines. I have collected some hardware from the salvaged yards i.e. x-y and some z axis with and without motors(usually stepper) normally for the price of scrap alum. The piece is already machined, rails and pillow blocks etc. are already there and sometimes there is a base or table. However no drivers,no controllers,no power supply, etc. What do I do? |

| Post up some pics of what you have, and the sizes of the parts for more help. Geckos are always good drivers and the motor size depends on what you want to cut and how fast, it also depends on the machine size, and type (moving gantry or moving table doesn't make that much difference unless one is really heavy). The more info you can give the better. |
