How do you cut wide grooves with a small bit? | |
How like on the JGRO Z-axis do you make the recessed cuts for the AB nut and the bearing supports? I drew a similar piece, extruded the cutouts, saved as a dxf took it into SheetCam and ended up with 2 lines instead a wide recessed area.
Do I have to manually code this using a stepover to cut out a large area? I knew I should have ordered endmills larger than .125"
