2 or 3 weeks ago someone asked for more detailed pictures of the MTC machine.
Sorry this took so long.
I'm in the process of tweaking mine and have it somewhat disassembled.
This is a front view of the Z plate without the router and plate mounted. It's a fairly good look at the lead screw for Z.

I don't have a good shot of the X axis drive.

I'll try to get one when I get time to finish my tweaking.

How much did you pay for mechanical parts?

I haven't ever sat down and figured out what the total cost of this machine was (yes, I'm afraid to add it all up). All of the parts were ordered from the suppliers suggested by MTC and for the most part the prices listed in the engineering package were very close. What surprised me was the shipping cost on some of these parts. If you can get the rack (for the X & Y drive), the linear guides and bearing, and the 80/20 frame locally...you'll save a BUNCH of shipping fees.
