I am current building a 4x4 table and was wondering if it matters what type of guides I use (cost not an issue). I am looking at Mcmaster.com and they have both types (Ball Bearing Guide Blocks & Rails) or (Linear Bearings and Steel Shaft)? Thanks for your help. |

| If cost is not an issue, go with THK style blocks and rails. They can carry much higher loads than round shafts. 20-25mm size should be fine.
