Guide Blocks or Linear Shaft?

I am current building a 4x4 table and was wondering if it matters what type of guides I use (cost not an issue). I am looking at Mcmaster.com and they have both types (Ball Bearing Guide Blocks & Rails) or (Linear Bearings and Steel Shaft)?

For a table that size you will need either rails or fully supported shafting. Normal round unsupported shaft will flex way too much.

If cost is not an issue, go with THK style blocks and rails. They can carry much higher loads than round shafts. 20-25mm size should be fine.
