Hi! I'm not sure if anyone is interested but there are 10 or 11 55 inch long Star Linear rails on ebay right now for $95 (Buy It Now) each. It seems like a decent deal to me. Here's the url:

I would buy some but I've already settled on 43" long x-axis rails for the router and 55" rails would require me to get longer x-axis aluminum extrusions and a longer ballscrew.

U could cut them with an abrasive wheel

I guess I should clarify that I already have 43" rails, ballscrew, and extrusion so that if I got the 55" rails, I would have to get a larger ballscrew and extrusion.
