Getting closer

I finally decided to stop thinking/talking about building a machine and have actually started. Looks like my parts from Enco will arrive in several different shipments. I did get my drive screws and a sheet of UHMW today. I didn't get the mill finish sheet....maybe I should have. Right in the center of my 12x24x.5 sheet is a sink mark about an inch or so in diameter. Not very deep but very noticable. The rest of the sheet appears flat. Is this typical?
