Hi All, My name is Alex and I am from the UK. I am a flight sim enthusiast and cockpit builder and am venturing into the world of cnc now so that I can make some panels for my cockpit. Almost all the sites that I have done research with all point me to the solsylva plans. I have purchased both the 13x13 plans and today the 10x9 plans. I prefer the 10x9 over the 13x13 because of its compact size. But to my horror there is almost 5 pages of parts for the 10x9 and merely 2 pages for the 13x13 cnc table. For ease of build and less parts to buy I am going for the 13 x 13 table. It also makes sense really because its a bigger table. But, I cannot buy imperial hardware and fixings in the UK, as we are all metric. A simple inches to mm conversion doesnt really cut it either because we have different names for different measurents unlike in the UK. How does a UK builder of an american cnc table overcome the imperial to metric barrier. As much as I can convert an inch to millimeters I still dont know which nut or bult to buy as we have screws such as M4/M5/M6 etc and vice versa. Has any uk builder come across this problem before? Thanks. Alex |

| AlexJay Its quite easy to change from the inch to metric, the sizes are quite close so you will have no problems, the metric capscrew heads are larger that the biggest thing that is different 4mm=.1574 #8-32=.164 5mm=.1968 #10-32 or #10-24=.190 6mm=.236 1/4-20=.250 8mm=.3149 5/16-18=.3125
