Alright my solsyva isn't completed yet, but i've had some time to play around with cad/cambam. I've yet to interface to mach3 or anything of the sort. So I've imported a small dxf into cambam, made the necessary pockets and drillings. My question is my drill points start at 0, and go to -.30 My question is how does the CNC software know exactly where the zero point is, it's going to depend on the tool and thickness of the wood. I've read a lot of tutorials but I havent seen this covered anywhere. |
