I’m looking at putting together a router/milling machine and was wondering what does a 28” travel precision ground ballscrew setup run these days? I’m going to need a complete ball screw assemble minus stepper motor, unless its cheaper to get it with a stepper. |

| I picked up 3 linier drives, with servos, precision ground ball screws and approximate 28” of travel off ebay today. The best part here was the price, 150 per unit. I don’t know about the technical specs but at any rate I’m sure its going to be a good system. I believe its this unit in a custom packaging. http://www.bell-everman.com/actuators.html Ebay item: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...tem=7551795167 |

| I'd have bought 4, to get 2 pairs of rails, and resell the extra ballscrew. With the rails, that's a great price.

| Well I got my first one in today and they are precision rolled, not ground. Because the assembly is already put together it probably won’t make that big of a difference. Still a decent price for what I’m getting, once I figure out what its specs are, and how to wire it up. |
