| USB to Parallel adapters lack the timing requisite to run steppers reliably. Best thing to do is look for an old machine with a parallel port. Typically older machines are cheap and easy to locate. Vista and Win7 don't play nice even with a dedicated parallel port, XP or 2K are much easier to get working with Mach3. The specs on the PC are truly minimal. Good Luck! Fish |
