Need Help!- Source for a cheap spoilboard lelever bit

Hello, I need buy one cheap spoilboard leveler bit, but every one that I found is over 200 usd.

Could some one, help me to find any source for a cheap bit of this kind. I don't need a high level bit.

Amana makes large straight bits, up to 1-3/4" that you can use to surface a spoilboard, and relaively cheap as well...

I just used a Rockler 1" mortising bit (two flute straight bit, carbide tipped).. Worked fine...

I think you can use just about any end mill style wood bit (square end), it just takes longer with smaller bits...

Unless someone can tell me different, what's the point of paying $200-300 for a spoil board surfacing bit? Unless time is just 'that' expensive for you?...

Onsrud had a 1 1/4" one for 30 ish. It was the largest cheapest one I could find locally. 91-000.
I agree anything with a flat bottom should work OK. The mortising bits around here were smaller and more expensive.

Works good, just remember to turn the router speed down to 18,000 rpm.
