I have 3 - vexta model # pk564ana-tg30 stepping motors 5-phase, .024/step, DC 1.4A, 0.7ohm, 30:1 gear box mounted on them, 5 wire lead + black, red,orange,blue and green. I cant find any info on these, wondering if they can be used on my cnc router----I have both 201 gecko drives and I also have a xylotex set-ups...any info would help ..Jim |

| Sorry to tell you that 5 phase motors are problems. They need their own special electronic setup. The usual hobby controllers will not be able to run them. Someone built their own 5 phase controller but I think they used a 6 wire motor, someone in the forum built a controller for a 10 wire 5 phase motor, other than that you would be out of luck. I have 5 phase 5 wire Vexta motors liberated from a canon copier that have been idle in a storage box for almost a year. Jason |
