Ok, I'm officially back in build mode on my machine. I would really like to draw up some designs in a CAD program but it appears that TurboCAD is only a 15 day trial, I don't have a spare $600 and change to buy it either Is there a freeware or trial version of some good CAD software that will enable me to learn but not on a time limit? I figure designing my machine on the software would be a great way to learn as well. Also, any tutorials? It's been 10 years since I've used any CAD software and it was GraphiCAD... for 2D sign design.I'm really trying to find the CAD software I'll use on my machine. I might be able to afford TurboCAD sometime down the line but for now I just can't shell out that kind of $$. I'll probably get Mach2/3 though for controling the machine, I'll use the trial while I learn. I've searched a ton on the site and all I seem to find is TurboCAD. Thanks! |

| Search for TurboCAD on Ebay. You can get Version 10 Deluxe for less than $30. http://cgi.ebay.com/TURBOCAD-DELUXE-...QQcmdZViewItem Or check out A9CAD at http://www.A9tech.com for a 2D free CAD program. For a free 3D parametric program, check out http://www.alibre.com/xpress

| Now you have Turbocad, make sure you register it. That way Imsi will keep you informed of updates, and send you some blinding upgrade deals.
