I was finally able to get my machine up and running. The question I have is once Ive completed the drawing in Autocad what version should I save it as so that I can run it thru a g-code converter. I am using Ace converter. I have these programs that I can use for creating and running the cnc output. autocad 200i Corel 9 Corel 12 turbocad v10.5 Quickstep ace converter & cncpro mach2 turbocnc My machine is a 24x32, using the Gecko201s , porter cable router, computer running Windows ME. Ive done some test cutting and everthing is pretty much dailed in, I just dont remember the process to get the drawings into the right format so it can be converted to g-code so that I can cut. Any help would be grateful. |
