| hi guys, i have been amember of this site quite awhile and i have been in the "will i wont i" camp in relation to making my own cnc machine....so eventually i am gona go for it and make one....with you guys help of course! I know i want to make one that will handle an 8x4 sheet of hdpe plastic (project i have in mind) i know that i would like to use twin x axis drive motors primarily to move the gantry smoothly. Now i know aluminum would prob be the best to use for construction but id like some help with a design plan for this.....this is were i really hope you guys can help, do you have any idea where i can get a set of plans for this size of unit??? any help you can give would be appreciated and i am so sure i will be on here regularly picking your respective brains many thanks in advance of your replies |
