hey guy, im from argentina, here i cant find an good place where can i get good stepper motors at nice price, i cant find rails, screws..... i want to order from USA the motors, servos, and if is possible all the items to buy an CNC machine. |

Sir, It would be a help if you could describe the size, application, and general specifications of the machine you want to build. There are different approaches according to size, type of material you are going to cut, etc. We could then offer ideas to fit your desired machine. Regards, Jack C. |

| Well Thanks for the help guys, the main use that i want to is Router woodworking and drill Electronic PCBs. Abt the Size, i want an medium one, 1mt x 1mt will be ok. Not Lucky with http://www.durhamrobotics.com/, looks like they are not selling items right now. Sorry for my english. Hope ppl can give me more ideas |

| today i found in an store some motors, but dont know if will be ok for an CNC machine. How Many Volts need to be rated? Need to have Step angle 1.8º, right? i found this items Motor 1 - Voltaje 11.3V Corriente 0.42A Torque 63N.CM (87.8oz/in) 6.385g.cm Price $50 Motor 2 - Voltaje 12V Corriente 0.60A Torque 100N.CM (141oz/in)10.135g.cm Price $60 Motor 3 - Voltaje 12V Corriente 6.60A Torque 200N.CM (282oz/in) 20.270g.cm Price $80 and in another store i found motors of 345N.cm at U$S120 and 560N.cm at U$S150. wich is the Torque Value that i need to use in an nice CNC machine? 200-300 N.cm are ok or if i buy an bigger will be betteR? |

Sir, If you will email me, I'll send you pictures of the machine which I made; it uses readily available parts, steppers, Gecko drives, and any CNC controller such as TurboCNC etc. I think your steppers have too high a voltage; there are better choices. Regards, Jack C. jccinc@owc.net |
