Hello , I have a Jet JWL-1236 Lathe. (see Diagram) I want to make an attachment for my Porter Cable router so I can do Spiral Table legs and Flutes. For now I just want it to be manual driven (NOT CNC yet!). I was going to use 2 Slides with Bearing Blocks to hold the router and 1 Ball Screw to move the router when the lathe workpiece is rotated by hand. Please let me know if you have any suggestions on where to start. The headstock of the lathe is open ended for the ram , but is threaded. THanks |
