Need Help!- Router choice, Kress 1050?

We have a project where we are building a CNC, mainly for landscaping models in styrofoam, but also could be used on wood.

I'm now looking for a router, and found one I think would fit, Kress FME-1050.
I've read both positive and negative things about it, and since this is my first CNC i'm not sure if it works for our use. I'm fully aware that many recommend spindles, but the driver takes up to much space.

Our budget for a router is about 250 € and hopefully we get some collets and tools in this price.

Does anyone have any tips for other solutions, or would this do for our use.

Dewalt DWP 611. $US120. LEDs around collet that shine down on work. Variable speed control. Construction is more aluminum that plastic. Has 0.25-inch collet; though may be different in Europe.

Much more powerful that you would think based on the size.

I was really impressed with the quality of construction, fit and finish, and how quiet it operates even at full speed. Mine is used to cut plywood, MDF, solid wood, plastic and composite materials. Last material I cut was some purple heart wood; cut at about 1/3 speed, ran perfectly and never slowed. I use a high quality 0.25-inch solid carbide three-flute down spiral bit; cost about $US40.

My vote would be for a Hitatchi 12vc. It is very quiet and will have plenty of horsepower. I have been running one heavy for about 4 years in mostly wood and I'm almost ready to change the brushes. The bearings also look fine. Now that I'm thinking of it, it is also pretty light for a router, I think it has an aluminum frame. Costs only about $160 and is easy to make a mount for.

The one downside it has is that it blows air out the bottom and you would need to make a simple diverter so your foam dust doesn't go everywhere. (yuck)

Never worked with CNC machines before so much to take into account, and not easy to know where to begin.
