| well if they rounded off I think the documentation would read differently, but I have bought the roton stuff and a freind bought the MCmaster stuff and side by side they are definitely different. So I would not assum its 5TPI, but it is very close. Not to mention the roton screw is thru hardend and ground and the Mcmaster is rolled and case hardend.

| OK, then. It just seemed that everyone that talks about them always calls them 5tpi. Thanks for the clarification.

| it is realy close And I too refere to them as 5tpi but its .2031 lead vs a 5tpi .2000 lead. So on a number bases i would say they are close to equal but personaly wouldnt mix them.
